Universal Accounting & Tax Services, Inc, one of the prominent local Accounting & Tax firms in the Washington Metropolitan, saw an opportunity to serve personal and businesses. We also saw opportunity to provide an environment where creative, people-oriented professionals could practice accounting and tax without the bureaucratic constraints inherent in a very large firm.

People are attracted to our firm by word of mouth from satisfied clients. Each preparer is associated with our tax clients for many years and have intimate knowledge of the tax issues they face as their situation changes over the years. Our clients contact us during the year with questions about the tax implications from the sale of a residence, or rental property, or a business.

Our staff of professionals is a highly qualified group brought together to help our clients succeed. We ensure an on-going awareness of changes within the profession through continuing educational programs. They prepare individual and business returns throughout the year, take continuing educations courses in taxes every year, and are involved in tax planning all during the year. In fact, taxes are uppermost in our minds for every business and individual client we have. We have yet to find a client not interested in paying the least amount of income taxes legally possible.
